A simple fish recipe with a unique marinade.This grilled fish can make your lunch or party a special,memorable one.Do try.
1 kg seer fish,sliced thin
Oil (of your choice) as required
5-6 garlic cloves
1 tbsp fennel seeds / perumjeerakam
3 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp black pepper powder
Juice of one large lime
Bring together all the ingredients mentioned in the marinade section to the small bowl of mixer.Make a smooth paste.You may add little water if necessary.The marinade should be thick,but soft.Now spread the marinade over each individual piece and marinate for at least 2 hours.I have done this overnight in fridge so that it comes handy during grilling.Grill using any oil of your choice.Grill it using either an oven griller or grilling pan.Serve with sliced onion and lemon wedges.
